Grid Connect Systems
Stage One
First and foremost - get a hold of your electricity account. Look them over and find out what your daily average usage is. This is usually found on the reverse side of your account.
Stage Two
Once you have gained this information contact us and we will then work with you to determine whether you want to reduce your electricity account slightly or make a bigger impact on the electricity account. Some systems even have the ability to generate enough energy to cover your total needs as well as generate energy for a buy back scheme through your electricity provider.
Stage Three
When the size of the system has been determined and you are ready to sign up, one of our staff will phone you and make an appointment to come out to conduct a Site Inspection to ensure the optimum location for your system's installation.
Stage Four
A quote will then be sent to you outlining all costs and what size system will be supplied. At this point a deposit of 10% is payable, so all materials can be ordered as well as ll appropriate paperwork submitted to various Government departments.
The approval process through Government departments can take anywhere from 2-6 weeks to process. This time frame is dependent on the amount of installs being lodged.
Stage Five
A letter from the Australia Green House Office or the EPA (Environment Protection Authority) will be sent to you and us giving notification of the approval of your rebate. One of our staff will then contact you to arrange an installation date.
Stage Six
The installation team will phone a day or two ahead to ensure access to the property is available. The installation is always governed by the weather.
Stage Seven
On completion of the installation an invoice for the balance of your account will be sent to you for your final payment. We will also notify your electricity provider so they can arrange to install the Solar Meter.
